We were super excited on Wednesday afternoon to have our first proper Squirrel Scout meeting. The Squirrels are the newest and youngest section of our group aged 4 to 6 years. This meeting followed the success of our taster session in December last year! For their first meeting the Squirrels learnt a little about Scouts, they listened to a story, played a game (squirrel, squirrel, wolf), made a model of a campfire, ate the biggest marshmallows ever and even sang a campfire song. We would like to thank our wonderful team of Squirrel leaders for volunteering and making this happen.
Some of the leaders from the group had a great day on Saturday updating their Scouting skills.

Congratulations to Rebecca Prew and Brook Braithwaite who were this week awarded the Commissioners Commendation for good service from our District Commissioner – Chris Tebb. Rebecca is one of our group stalwarts, she joined the group in 2017
