Join the scouting adventure!

Why join Scouting?

Every year Scouting helps young people enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Working alongside our youth members are adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.

Youth membership is open to boys, girls and young people aged 6 to 25.

Adult membership from aged 18. Click on the links to find out about the Group.

‘Scouting offers young people adventure that’s hard to find anywhere else. We challenge and inspire our kids to become the best people they can possible be.

These are just a few of the reasons why I’m so proud to be UK Chief Scout. Kids find a sense of community and camaraderie at Scouts, building friendships with others all over the world. We offer adventure to people from all walks of life and of all ages. Life is about adventure, and that’s something we know all about’.

Scouting never ends despite COVID 19. One of our Cub Leaders and his Cub Scout son decided to brave the snow and go camping in the wilds of The Czech Republic. They took some fabulous photos in the process. Why don't you go out and have your own personal Scouting adventure!
